All-On-X Implant Supported Denture Solutions at Osborn Advanced Dentistry
What Are All-On-X Implants?
All-On-X is an advanced, minimally invasive solution for patients who need to replace an entire arch of teeth. Instead of placing an implant for every missing tooth, Dr. Osborn strategically places four to six implants to support a full, fixed set of new teeth.
This approach is more efficient, more affordable, and often completed in a single appointment using local anesthesia. You can get an entire set of new teeth without the need for multiple surgeries.
How All-On-X Works
All-On-X implants use titanium posts placed in the jawbone to anchor a custom full-arch restoration. The restoration includes gum-colored acrylic and ceramic to emulate natural-looking teeth designed to match your smile. These teeth are personalized to look just like your natural teeth.
Your Treatment Journey
-
Comprehensive Evaluation
Dr. Osborn and her oral surgeon review your dental history, bone structure, and overall oral health to determine the best approach. -
Advanced Imaging
3D scans and CT imaging help identify ideal implant placement and ensure safety around nerves and sinuses. -
Digital Planning
Computer-guided simulation allows precise implant positioning for long-term stability. -
Implant Placement
Your implants are placed in the jawbone, and depending on your case, you may receive temporary teeth the same day. -
Healing
We will monitor your healing process and encourage you to take care of your mouth as we prepare your final appliance. -
Denture Placement
Your implant supported permanent denture will be secured with removable screws. -
Maintenance
Typically, twice per year we ask that you return to the office for hygiene maintenance including removal of the permanent denture for thorough cleaning.
Maintenance & Aftercare
Once healed, your All-On-X restoration functions like natural teeth. You’ll brush twice daily and visit us for routine maintenance. After healing, you should be able to eat and drink like you normally would.
It is important to note that cleanings are a bit more expensive than normal cleanings, and screws can be used three times before they need to be repurchased and replaced.
Who Is a Candidate?
- Have lost 3 or more teeth
- Want a permanent, fixed alternative to removable dentures
- Want to smile with confidence again
- Have low bone density (in many cases, implants can still be placed using angled positioning)
Additional Procedures (If Needed)
Some patients may require:
- Extractions — only for teeth that cannot be saved
- Bone grafting — to strengthen areas of low bone density
- Sinus lift — to create space for upper-jaw implants
These steps help ensure long-term implant success.
Recovery Timeline
Healing typically takes 4–6 months, during which the implants fuse with your jawbone through osseointegration. Your initial teeth are temporary, giving you time to evaluate their look and feel before your final set is crafted.
You can decide if you like the color and shape before receiving your permanent crowns. Shape, color, and size are custom crafted to meet your desires.
Cost of All-On-X
A single arch of All-On-X implant supported dentures, implants, and extractions generally range from $15,000 to $35,000, depending on your needs. This is significantly more cost-effective than replacing each tooth individually.
Permanent All-On-X appliances typically far outlast removable dentures and can save cost over time. Insurance may cover portions of treatment, and our team is happy to help you understand your benefits.
